30 TAC §334.8: annual tank compliance certificate
Tank owners and operators file a registration and self-certification form. It renews the delivery certificate each year. The form has to be complete, dated and signed, and sent in on time. When ownership changes, a new certification is due within 30 days.

What proof usually looks like
Your letter sets what to show and by when. Match each item on it to records like these:
- A copy of the completed self-certification form, dated and signed.
- Proof of when you sent it, at least 30 days before your delivery certificate renewal date.
- Your current delivery certificate.
- After a change of owner: the new certification, sent within 30 days.
Common mistakes
- Sending the form late, so the delivery certificate lapses.
- Leaving parts of the form blank. The rule says the state will not issue a certificate for an incomplete form.
- A form signed by someone who is not the owner, the operator, or their authorized representative.
- Forgetting the new certification after buying a site.
